Articulture Archi-talks -- Hygge at Home

Articulture Archi-talks -- Hygge at Home

This free architecture lecture series is presented by Scott Harvey, REALTOR with 12 Rivers Realty.

This month's talk features Tim Cuppett, founding partner of Tim Cuppett Architecture & Interiors. Tim's theme for this lecture is "Hygge at Home."

Hygge, pronounced "hoo-guh," is a Scandinavian word cognate with English "hug." It means something like "coziness," though is has more cultural valence than the English "coziness" does. This recent New Yorker article gives a little more insight into hygge.

What to Expect at Architalks

Inspiration. Insight. Discussion.

The talks are usually 30-40 minutes, with time for a few questions at the end. The talk is in the equally-inspiring Articulture gardens. So come early, relax, look around. Have a great time!

Wine and Topo Chico will be provided along with some light snacks. The series is free, but you must RSVP as space is limited. (And if you RSVP early, but later discover you can't make it, please let us know so we can open up your seat.)

If weather turns nasty, we'll have a rain date set aside for the following Thursday, 10/19.
