Hoop Dance Happy Hour
$20 to learn tricks, transitions and find your hoop rhythm! Libations included.
Hooping is a low-impact exercise that provides a great cardiovascular workout, builds core strength and tones your entire body. In this intro workshop you’ll learn beginner tricks and transitions to create your own hoop dance story. Enjoy some light libations while getting Instruction by the one and only Misty Smith from Circle of Play Flow Arts.
Note: While not common, some people will experience light bruising of the skin, particularly on the arms, due to the repetitive motion of the hoop.
More about Misty: Misty Smith has been hoop dancing and instructing for the past 9 years. She makes custom hoops and performs with fire, LED and double hoops. Currently, Misty teaches at The University of Texas and has weekly community hoop jams on Rainey Street.
