We tried to create an eloquent statement to show our support for our Black brethren, and to condemn the systemic racism that still infests our society and laws. But the fact that such a statement needs to be made means eloquence might not be what's needed. At least not from a boutique. Instead we'll focus on action, like the millions of people marching for racial equality.

But eloquence will be needed by the the teams at NAACP Legal Defense Fund & ACLU of Central Texas, working tirelessly for racial justice as they have for decades.

So this action from Articulture will be simple: all sales at Articulture boutique and online sales will be donated to these two organizations.That means 100% of your purchase will be passed on to support racial justice and the legal fees of those taking an active role in this fight.

And Austin, a particular challenge: the last time we held a fundraiser for ACLU, we only raised a few hundred dollars. Let's raise a few thousand this time.

Since re-opening on May 1st, we have been "by appointment only" shopping in the boutique to help maintain safety protocols to prevent spread of coronavirus. This policy will remain in place. To ensure safety while raising as much money as possible for racial justice:

• Or order online for free curbside pickup (or delivery anywhere in U.S., with free shipping on orders over $50)

• If we got booked solid on Saturday, 6/19, schedule time on Sunday, 6/20 (or as your schedule allows), and we'll include your purchase in the donations to NAACP Legal Defense Fund and ACLU of Central Texas
