Installation Coordinator
Articulture Designs, a high-end plantscape (interior and exterior) design and maintenance firm is seeking a qualified Installation Coordinator to keep projects organized and running smoothly. It will involve direct communication with clients and hands-on fabrication and installation responsibilities.
About the Job
This is a full-time, salaried position dedicated to our custom project business unit. The position requires strong organizational skills, as you will be liaison between project designers, fabrication artists, and clients on many facets of a project.
Regular job duties includes (but is not limited to):
Perform project site visits and field verifications
Coordinate with clients regarding installation details and dates
Keep installation calendar up-to-date and coordinate with internal teams and clients
Ensure Articulture fabrication team is executing project needs on time and up to project expectations
Leading fabrication team through projects
Basic carpentry, which can include (but not limited to) use of jigsaw, drills, and other basic power tools
Driving cargo van and box trucks to make product deliveries and job site dropoffs
Take ownership of installation process
Ensure team is properly equipped with what is needed, including all hardware and tools
Lead the team performing the installation
Be a leader on-site, including troubleshooting and problem resolution
Communicating with clients as needed

This position requires some travel for out-of-state installations, approximately 4-6 per year.
About You
To be qualified for this position you must be dependable, hardworking, and maintain a positive attitude. We are close-knit team, and team chemistry is just as important as job skill.
Minimum qualifications include (but are not limited to):
3-5 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a fabrication, workshop, or construction capacity
Basic fabrication skills, including cutting, sawing, drilling, painting, gluing, glazing, material handling, and more
Demonstrated experience installing custom pieces into wide variety of surfaces, including drywall, concrete, steel, wood, hanging from ceilings, etc.
Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds independently
Able to climb ladders and work on ladders
Strong proficiency in computer applications to track work orders and project status
Expert proficiency in Excel, and other basic computer programs
Demonstrated experience managing calendars/schedules
Excellent communication skills
In order to perform this job safely, it requires good vision, hearing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, lifting, communication, and critical thinking skills. The ability to safely load and unload heavy equipment is also necessary.
