Now Hiring: Plant Care Specialist - HOUSTON (Part Time)

This is a part-time position in Houston, Texas. We are seeking a knowledgeable Houstonian plant lover to assist in upkeep and maintenance for our growing roster of Houston clients.

Primary job duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Watering and fertilizing all plants as necessary

  • Maintaining appropriate light conditions and orientation

  • Deadheading (removing any damaged or unsightly leaves, etc.)

  • Pruning, trimming, and removing debris from planters

  • Keeping all plants free from diseases and insects

  • Assist your teammates when assistance is needed, even if it isn’t your main job duty

  • Maintaining beautiful appearance of top dressing and other ornamental elements

  • Preventing damage to surrounding floors, walls, carpet, furniture, etc. from water and/or moisture

  • Addressing client concerns and ensuring clients are happy, satisfied, and pleased with our service

Prerequisites:

To be considered for this position, you must have…

  • Solid plant knowledge and experience caring for plants

  • Own reliable transportation

  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds independently

  • Able and comfortable to climb ladders and work on ladders

  • Detail-oriented nature; we don’t do good work, we do great work

  • Positive, can-do attitude
